i can tell you i am confident i will not being doing an internship this summer, by that i mean 'internship' that everybody has such narrow minded concepts of -- internships at some big firm, law internships, bank internships... yuck. no. not me.

this summer i am going to travel asia, i am going to pick up new things like new sports or painting, i am going to pick up old things i discarded, like soccer or the violin, i am going to volunteer at places that need help, i am going to watch all teh movies i've never watched, i'm goign to read all the books i haven't read, i'm going to join associations that do random ass things (recommendations please) and meet new people, i'm going to party as much as i want, i'm going to work sometimes to have some income and i sure as hell am going to have fun

i'm so sick and tired of feeling pressured to do well in school, get a good job, do something practical. NO i don't fucking want to ok? i want to live in europe for one or two years, i want to save enough money to buy my parents something awesome, i want to get a tattoo and regret it later, or wear outrageous clothes and get away with it and amass a gargantuan collection of sunglasses. i think i will try filming things and telling stories, writing more and playing more music
